If you are a fan of Gil’s vocals or Rik’s guitar-playing, you’ll love this album. It is a heavy-hitting album, and unique in that it features Gil predominantly on vocals, while Rik attends to his guitar and quite ferociously. I Live for the Weekend and I Can Survive are still the favourites they used to be then.
Just A Game
A consistently good album. One likeable song after the other. Rock anthems, ballads, progressive rock, heavy metal, even a bit of waltz. It offers a variety of sounds and demonstrates the musical abilities of Triumph very early on. Classic 80s, and a soundtrack to the teen-years of many, this album includes the Lay it on the Line, Just a Game, and the Top 40 hit Hold On.

Thunder Seven
Undoubtedly a favourite of most Triumph fans, this album truly represents the energy of the band. The vocals, drumming, bass playing are so powerful that a critic once remarked the album should’ve been “Thunder Three”. Features hits such as Spellbound, Killing Time, Follow Your Heart, Rock On, Roll On.
Triumph
Looking back, most agree that this album was an early indicator of Triumph’s sound and enduring appeal that would soon follow. Mike’s production chops, Gil’s precision in pounding, and Rik’s incredible vocal and guitar ranges are all there to be seen on their first release. The title track, and Blinding Light Show are definitely the highlights for many fans and their party years!
Rock and Roll Machine
A simple, straightforward rock ‘n roll album, true to its name. The guitar-driven songs aim to please the very basic instincts, like everything else about this release. Including the album cover with the rising flames et al. Definitely the one to put you in the mood should you have a craving for a passionate deliverance or indulging in some air-guitar antics.

Allied Forces
Triumph’s most famous piece of work, this album has the quintessential sound and punch of the 80s. Great riffs, intense ballads, multi-dimensional musicanship, catchy lyrics, all blend to lend this album its widely-cherished and long-lived appeal.
