FAN ART: Chris Newman

Sarah Blog

Back in 1985, a 15-year-old Triumph fan proudly walked into Metalworks Studios with a pencil drawing he had done of Gil Moore perched behind his drum kit. Gil wasn't at the studio that day but Mike Levine gladly accepted the gift on Gil's behalf. For 35 years the drawing hung in Gil's office at Metalworks with the name of the artist remaining a mystery.

Through a lucky series of events, Gil was finally able to track down the artist as Chris Newman. In 2019 they met and posed for this photo in Gil's office at Metalworks Studios where the framed drawing has lived for so many years.

Mystery solved and Chris Newman is still a loyal member of Triumph's Allied Forces!
