About Triumph

Triumph is the Canadian hard-rock power trio of Rik Emmett (guitars, vocals), Mike Levine (bass, keyboards) and Gil Moore (drums, vocals), formed in Toronto in 1975. Rising from the clubs of Ontario to sold-out arenas across North America, the band came to define the arena-rock era with virtuoso musicianship, soaring melodies and one of the most spectacular live shows ever staged — a production of lights, lasers and pyrotechnics that set the standard for the genre.

Across more than a dozen studio and live albums — including Just A Game, Allied Forces, Never Surrender and Thunder Seven — Triumph sold over 15 million records worldwide and earned a long list of gold and platinum certifications, driven by enduring rock-radio anthems such as “Lay It On The Line,” “Magic Power,” “Fight The Good Fight” and “Hold On.” Their landmark 1983 US Festival performance played to one of the largest single-day audiences in music history.

Now marking 50 years of the Rock & Roll Machine, Triumph returns to the stage in 2026 with Rik Emmett and Gil Moore, joined by Phil X, Brent Fitz and Todd Kerns, on the Rock And Roll Machine Reloaded tour.
