Vh1 Rock Honors
I was watching the Vh1 Rock Honors The Who last night and this thought came to mind "What if Triumph were to be featured as a band to honor?" There's about 5 different bands that play 2 songs of the featured band and then at the end the featured band plays about 5 or 6 songs. It would be no problem getting Poison there to play a Triumph song or 2, I'm thinking 24 Hours A Day, What's Another Day Of Rock And Roll, or maybe American Girls. It has to be a party tune, lol. Then maybe Megadeth could be there and play a fast/heavy song like Street Fighter, Tear The Roof Off, or I Live For The Weekend. Sebastian Bach could be there to play something along the lines of Nature's Child, Allied Forces, or When The Lights Go Down. There's a newer band from Vancouver, Canada called Pride Tiger, who sound exactly like Thin Lizzy that could probably pull of a few Triumph songs, such as Spellbound, Little Boy Blues, or Just A Game. Go to www.myspace.com/pridetiger and give them a listen. Airbourne is an awesome riff driven rock band in the veign of AC/DC, which makes sense considering they are Australian. They could pull of stuff such as Takes Time, Little Texas Shaker, or Cool Down, given the fact their singer/guitarist has such a Brian Johnson like scream. And lastly out would come Triumph to play Fight The Good Fight, Lay It On The Line, Never Surrender, Magic Power, Follow Your Heart, and Hot Time (In This City Tonight). I'm probably dreaming, but it doesn't hurt to dream. Any thoughts, opinions???

Re: Vh1 Rock Honors
Hey Patricia, I thought a lot of people would have viewed this topic, but still waiting for them, lol. How do they go along selecting bands for the vh1 rock honors anyway. It would be cool if we got everyone on this site to somehow contact vh1 about the idea of honoring Triumph.
