    Snowmobiling...

Anyone here go?  I'm a big time snowmobiler(when we get enough snow).  We have four, all Arctic Cats.  Don't really get too big with motors since there's not really any need for it, a '98 ZL 440 that has around 9,600 miles on it, a '99 Z 440 with around 7,500 miles, a '02 ZR 500 with about 2,200 miles, and we just got a used '01 ZR 440 sno pro(looks like brand new) with 1,200 on it.  It now has around 1,400.  That is an amazing snowmobile!  Out of all of them it has the most horsepower since it was a limited build and AC pretty much only gave them out to guys that raced for them.  Lucky for us the guy wanted to get rid of it, he used to ride ovals so they gave it to him.  Picked it up for only $1000 so it was a great deal.  I think it has 101 horsepower out of that little motor, the ZR 500 only has 97...they both scoot though!  All of the sno pro's horsepower doesnt come until after about 7700 rpms so you gotta ride it hard in order for it to work, same with the suspension-its really stiff so the harder you ride the smoother it gets.  I let a guy by on the trails today with an '04 Firecat 700 and he couldn't get away from me...and he was trying!

Can't you feel the magic, feel it everywhere, Can't you hear the music, there's something in the air, There's a celebration, deep within a song, Celebrate this feeling, you know it can't be wrong

Pretty sweet Ben, ive had some pretty big sleds but my favorites are always the little sleepers like yours. Light weight and alot of horsepower. That was a pretty hot class of sleds for a few years, I recall Polaris and Arctic Cat had some killer machines. My last sled was a Ski Doo Mach1, I sold it as we dont see much snow anymore. I do miss the sport alot though.
