    My Name Is Earl

So does anyone else but me watch this show?  This is by far one of the funniest 1/2 hour sitcoms still on TV (the funiest IMO was Arrested Development ... but it was cancelled).  I guess I like this so much because it (admitedly) hits a little too close to home for comfort.  Many have asked what I look like ... well ... put a goatee and 20 lbs on Earl and that's me ... my name is SNASL ... Yep, same type of hair and demeanor and everything ... and you can find me walking around a camp ground (we live out of the trailer) in the summer complete with blue jeans, boots and flannel.  In fact, my 1st wife was Joy (the character from 'My Name is Earl') through and through.  Yep, smokin' hot with a mouth that wouldn't stop.  Here's A hint NSN and Knetze ... DON'T MARRY YOUNG (LOL).  My Joy didn't end up with a Darnel though ... more like Ralph, the loud mouth obnoxious friend of Earl and Randy ... good ridence.

Anyway, was wondering if anyone else watches this show ... do you too have a little bit of "redneck" in you, eh! (<- I added this for our Canadian friends)?

SNASL that is one hell of a pic you've got there lol, and I've watched it a few times its pretty funny, I've been into scrubs a lot lately, staying up until 12:30 to watch it...then sleeping in class a lot haha, but its great a lot of sarcasm-which is always good, Dr. Cox is hilarious

totally unrelated, I heard Triumph TWICE today on the SAME radio station!!! Magic Power then Fight the Good Fight

Can't you feel the magic, feel it everywhere, Can't you hear the music, there's something in the air, There's a celebration, deep within a song, Celebrate this feeling, you know it can't be wrong

Ahhh ... Ben ... Yes, I thought I'd "shake things up a bit" on the discussion board with my new Avatar.  You like it?  Hypmotising isn't it?  Who get's into smoking squirrels anyway (boring!)?  Nevertheless, I figure nobody really reads or takes to heart the crap I post on here anyway ... too much sarcasim (guilty as charged) can lead to many tuning me out when I'm actually trying to make a valid point.  Nevertheless, much like MNiE, I too have a list.  Number (Thunder) 7 on my list is "punched out a fellow Triumph fan during the Thunder 7 tour for hitting on my girl (see Joy reference above)".  Anyway, back in '84/85 I was at a Triumph concert with my (soon to be) wife No. 1 when some "Joe Shmo" hit on my gal.  Now mind you, back in the 80's there was a lot of parafanalia circulating at Triumph shows and I had indulged a bit during the Thunder 7 concert.  Nevertheless, this dude began hitting on my sweet innocent Joy (yeah right) and I'd had enough and pulled back and attempted to punch this guy right in the nose during the Rocky Mountain Way encore.  Unfortunately, the "parafanalia" had taken its toll and instead of socking this guy in the nose I wacked him straight in the forehead ... and I nearly broke my hand.  I knocked the guy silly and proceeded to walk out with "Joy" before things escallated (missed Fight the Good Fight too).  Nevertheless, I've always looked back on this moment in time with regret.  It's one of the reasons I post on this site so much.  Karma dictates I make amends with my Triumph brethern for turning on my fellow brother... and what if I wouldn't have succeeding in knocking my foe silly?  What if I had missed my mark totally and this guy had knocked me out and taken "Joy" off my hands?  I would have missed out on years and years of frustration and agony.  Ahhh ... the memories ... anyway ... I digress ....

    Re: My Name Is Earl

Great show. Being from the south, I guess one would say I have a little redneck in me(not that one has to be from the south to be one), but not nearly as much as those who appear on the show. Not even close.

In a TV land filled with terrible reality TV and bad drama shows, I enjoy a lot of the half hour comedies. I am really in hopes that they will make a comback, and reality TV will take a hike. Just who are these idiots that watch that stuff anyway? It's not even good television, and most of it belongs on the Lifetime channel for women.
