    Guitars

Any guitar players out there? If so, what kind of guitar do you play?

I just got a new Ibanez RGT42DXFMTLF, it plays great, and I love the neck!

    Re: Guitars

Before I started listening to TRIUMPH, I wasn't that serious about playing guitar, and after hearing Rik's shredding gutiar licks I now practice a couple of hours a day.

    Re: Guitars

That's a nice Ibanez. I'm presently using a '62 Strat, an '03 Taylor 600 Spec, and an Alvarez MC90C classical. What amp are you using with that Ibanez?

    Re: Guitars

I got my honey - a sweet Les Paul I don't take out of the case very often - and a Strat copy that I use as my practice beater.
The time has come to face the music again...Back them up against the wall and bring the hammer down...

nah you should try your amp with different ones at a shop if possible.

The ear candy cabs are the latest rage http://www.earcandycabs.com/
but I only know a few online guys who have tried them in person.

Heck the crates with the V30's are a great deal these days.

The Randall MTS series has a mic eliminator if thats useful for you.

A good friend is stopping at the carvin factory to try out a "Legacy" cab. Ill see what he says upon return

Most of my playing these days come through some alesis studio monitors with a cabinet simulator in front. All low volume playing. 12" speakers on and a tube amp dont really have a place in my living situation.

Im in the (long) process of making my own. its a 4x12 cab that utilizes 2 speakers rather then 4. Eventually when I get further along Ill share my results.

I agree Ibanez necks are great. The only neck thats more comfortable to me is the neck on my Jackson.

Are those active pups in that bad boy?
