What Triumph Albums Do You Actually Own?

I was just curious as to see what Triumph albums people actually own. Are you a fanatic like me who is trying to track down each album (on CD or LP)? Or do you just have some of your faves?

Currently I have every album except "Stages" and "Sport Of Kings" & "Edge Of Excess", the latter of which I can't seem to find. I also have both concerts on DVD. I also recently bought that Anthology which was really good, but unfortunatly they left out Rock 'N' Roll Machine!!

I bought 'Just A Game' and 'Rock 'n' Roll Machine (european version)' ages ago on vinyl.

It wasn't until years after when i bought all the other records on vinyl.
I even got hold of the first 2 records (american versions)
Eventually i owned all the triumph on vinyl and 'Edge of Excess' and 'King Biscuit' on cd.
    Except for 'Classics'.

I don't have any items of Triumph.

My collection is sorta weak so far. Just A Game, Allied Forces and Thunder Seven on vinyl. Allied Forces, Thunder Seven, Sport Of Kings, Classics and Stages on CD. Sounds like a good time to buy some more Triumph. biggrin.gif

Re: What Triumph Albums Do You Actually Own?

The only one I was able to find was a 20th Century Masters: The Best Of Rik Emmet CD. It contains diffrent songs through his time as a solo artist. What've I head isn't bad. Some goods songs are:
    "Saved By Love"
    "World Of Wonder"
    "Big Lie"
    "When A Heart Breaks"
    "Middle Ground"
    "Bang On"

I'm still convinced that his best guitar work was with Triumph though.

I'd love to get some of his actual albums, but they seem to be really hard to find. I guess the best place to look would be Amazon.ca or another site like that. Hooray for online shopping! smile.gif

I have all Rik's stuff including the DVD's. The music styles are all over the place. Some tunes I like very much.
I think you need to think of him as a different artist rather than the guy from Triumph.
Dont misunderstand me I like it but it had to grow on me. He still throws in those instrumentals similar to the ones on the Triumph albums. And they are very good. If you can get his latest DVD 10 gigs get it. It covers his entire range of solo work and there are some good rockers on it.

Re: What Triumph Albums Do You Actually Own?

I own the following vinyl releases:

Rock & Roll Machine (silver vinyl with etched autographs on label)
    Just A Game (fold-out game/album cover)
    Progressions of Power
    Allied Forces
    Never Surrender
    Stages
    Thunder Seven

I wasn't fond of the subsequent releases so I never bothered to buy them.

Can't you feel the magic, feel it everywhere, Can't you hear the music, there's something in the air, There's a celebration, deep within a song, Celebrate this feeling, you know it can't be wrong

Re: What Triumph Albums Do You Actually Own?

I have everything they ever released on vinyl still sealed except for Progressions of Power, still looking for that one. Then of course I got all their albums on casette, then had to go get the cd's when they became affordable, God only knows what the next medium will be and we'll all have to go out and replace our exsisting collections of music yet again (damn technology).
