sweet!  gotta check these out when I have like an hour to wait for the video to load LOL

Can't you feel the magic, feel it everywhere, Can't you hear the music, there's something in the air, There's a celebration, deep within a song, Celebrate this feeling, you know it can't be wrong

Looking good. I don't care what anyone says...RMW may not be a great song, but it sounded pretty good here. Looks like they had fun with it. Good guitar work there Rik. The boys are looking good and Dave is a great addition.

Dam! I wish I was there! If they tour I hope they make it to the Canadian Prairies. I'm there!

Man, Gil sounded great.........I'm really impressed with the video footage....all the multiple shots & up close footage. Who's taking this video?? Everything I've seen from this show so far sounds better than the Sweden stuff. It appears they made some adjustments....especially in Rik's vocal range (Never Surender). I really hope they tour in North America next year (Carolina's).......I will be there!!

During the 'Lay It' video, because of the guy in the bad cowboy hat, I thought I was watching an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Triumph was the main reason we made the trip to Pryor, OK yesterday afternoon.  As some of you already know, I work with the band ZEBRA and will be there tomorrow, but had to make an additional 4-hour commute from Dallas just to see and hear Rik, Mike and Gil after so many years.  And what a show it was!  If you could somehow overlook some of the sound issues (especially on Blinding Light Show), the performance itself was spectacular.

    Setlist:

    When The Lights Go Down

    Lay It On The Line

    Allied Forces

    Never Surrender

    Rocky Mountain Way

    Blinding Light Show

    Hold On

    I Live For The Weekend

    Magic Power

    Rock N' Roll Machine

    Fight The Good Fight

We were fortunate to have had a vantage point in front of the VIP section up on the rocks just to the left of the stage (stage right - Dave and Rik's side).  I shot several photos that maybe I can figure out how to post later.  We also attended the meet and greet and was able to get a couple of items autographed by the guys.  I already had Rik's autograph on just about everything, as he has performed a couple of network acoustic shows in Dallas the past few years or so.

We left Pryor around 2:30 am and arrived at my house north of Dallas around 6:30 am Saturday.  I am paying for it today with only 3 hours sleep...but well worth it to see TRIUMPH!!

I leave tomorrow morning around 7 am to drive back for ZEBRA.

Met bdalton and her friend Mark (?) who had driven from Toronto and also met oc12string at the meet and greet.

Smart man. Zebra is amazing. I would have done the same. (even if I worked for them and saw them all the time)

I couldn't go! Arrrrgggghhhh! They have to do a tour now, that's it.

I was reading in some blog the other day some dude bitching 'cause Triumph got to headline. Someone not familiar with their music, thinks they only have three well known songs, they've been away too long etc. I trust he understands why they got that slot now.

This looks like it was a terrific show, overall. Hold On... was the addition... Rik & Dave acoustic or whole band? If the latter, we need a frigging vid!

Can't wait for Hank's report and hopefully even more video!

Don't look back in anger, don't look ahead in fear. You just keep takin' her as she comes, until she comes in clear. The love you send out, returns to you in time.
