    Hi folks,
    Not much time to write this month.  On Monday May 5, I am hosting a part of the Humber Students' Songwriting Showcase at Hugh's Room. Blair Packham will also be there to sing and play. So will Fergus Hambleton and Terence Gowan, plus a bunch of very talented past participants in the Humber summer workshop, including the incredible Justin Nozuka, who was nominated for Best New Artist at this year's Juno Awards.  Showtime is 8:30 PM. Hugh's Room is at 2261 Dundas Street West, just south of Bloor. Door is $ 12. Please come and join us.  
    Rehearsing every day with the Triumph lads:  breaking in my new Gibson guitars [including a doubleneck!] and, ummm, polishing my Hall of Fame Award [which still seems surreal to me].  Hope to see you out at a gig soon ... Keep your eyes & ears open for new announcements soon - for example, just signed on to do a new Beatles kind of stage show on a limited run basis in Toronto and Ottawa in October.  Seems a long way away, but Life seems to be flowing at 299,792,458 metres a second.  Yeah - the speed of light - bits & bytes flowing through fibre optic cable!! 
    All I can say is - careful what you wish for, cuz you just might get it, and then some, and you won't have any time left to write blogs on your myspace page!!

    I was wondering  about how often they(Triumph) we rehearsing.

    Played hockey and went to high school with Terry Gowan. Great guy who always did a kick ass job on Triumph tunes in our school's Battle of the Bands night. Hope he is doing well, wonder what he is up to.

    Anyone going to the event tonight then? Please report back.

    hey everyone, if you want to see some cool pics, I'm pretty sure that a lot of people have scanned old Triumph pics from concerts and added them to the group.  I know there's on of Rik on the Allied Forces tour with the V and a blue shirt on which I had never seen.  Just thought I'd let you know, there's some cool stuff up there.

    Rik has also added some cool pictures to his myspace page, I think there was one of him with Reb Beach and I cant remember the other guitarist...but there are a few like that.
