ok here's the deal.I'm on a mission to get the band Y&T a show here in Dallas,Texas this year hopefully.All I need for ya'll to do is send a email to 2 different venues please and tell them you want to see the band Y&T play here.Even if you don't live around here that is fine,the more people the better.
The band wants to play here but they say that the venues are not responding back.They are playing near San Antonio at The North Texas Rock Rally on July 12th with Tesla and other bands but getting a show here around then could be possible if enough people contact them and tell them they want to see Y&T in Dallas.If not maybe the end of the year.
Please email the 2 address below and just tell them in as many words as you want that you would like to see the band Y&T play live here in Big D.

...and believe me, Russ is probably the biggest Y&T fan in Texas. He has been working/wanting to get Y&T here in Dallas ever since I first met him years ago. Not an easy thing to do in this market but worth the effort. Please help by e-mailing the venues.
We have not had ZEBRA perform here in Dallas in five years now...so I know the next show will probably be coming out of my pocket - not that I have that kind of money...just hoping and needing enough door revenue to cover my expenses.
Thanks Don.You know as well as I do how hard it is sometimes to get these promotors around here to just give some bands a chance(especially a band with 35 years behind them in the business like Y&T has,like the do all the other bands they bring through town around here.
speaking of Zebra,when do you think they might be able to make it back here.You know I'll do what I can.
just wanted to bump this thread up.If you have emailed the venues thanks,if not please do.They more people I can get the email the venues the better chance that they have to make a move on the band.You would be amazed what a bunch of emails can do.Power of the people.
