Me too, did you see them on their final two tours?

    Aldo Nova
You mean he actually toured? Stick out tongue I would love to see him play too.

I saw him warm-up for Hagar in April 1982.
    Any good?

He is a superb musician but one I never got to see, sadly. I am one of the few that actually think Subject and Twitch is better than his debut.

    1. The 1983 US Festival, would love to have seen Triumph there... luckily I have it immortalized on DVD.

    Well...........................

I was at the US Festival in 1983.

It was very hot that day(only went that day) and a very long day.

We were up all day Saturday and left for the concert about 2:00 am. We arrived about 5 or 6 in the morning.

Of course at eighteen, we didn't need any boosters(we should have got some in hindsite). We left b4 VH ( all of us were too damn tired).

Oh yes and I absolutely adore Nova's Dream.

I have a bootleg of him live in Cleveland Ohio in 1983, anyone else know this one?

Re: Concerts you wish you saw

saw aldo nova about a year after the release of blood on the bricks in a small bar in victoria bc with phil x as his sideman...it was neat having the two guys trading guitar licks back and forth....lasting image was phil x's technique of appearing that his hair was in front of a wind machine everytime he took on a solo....massive boufant swaying in the air and yet the only 'draft' around was in a glass...

as for the topic at hand

triumph - pre release of 'in the beginning'...would have been cool to see the guys in their early 20's full of agnst getting their ya's ya's out

    scorpions - blackout tour

david bowie - earthling tour with nine inch nails...dark and heavy...ummmm
