    Re: New Albums

Courtesy of a recommendation from Ben (aka The Geezer), I've been enjoying Steve Stevens' newest album, Memory Crash. Along with Paul Gilbert's latest album, Silence Followed by a Deafening Roar, it seems the guitar-focused album that ROCKS like a Neanderthal is far from extinct. Both albums are awesome! And highly recommended to anyone who enjoys 70s-hard-rock guitar with various tasteful grooves for the change-ups.

I heard a song from AC/DC's new album the other day... it sounded like AC/DC always sounds like.

...thats why its hard for me to listen to AC/DC...it all sounds the same all the time

I disagree, sorta. I became a HUGE AC/DC fan when Highway to Hell came out, and I ran right out and got all of their previous albums. Powerage, Let There Be Rock & If You Want Blood are all awesome albums. Back in Black was a very good record, but since then.....yawnnnn. I do kinda like the one new tune I have been hearing on the radio, but I won't be buying since I don't shop at Wallymart. Bon Scott ruled.

The Tesla album is AWESOME!!  Some live videos on YouTube, if you wanted to check it out.  They also did Rockline last week.  You can hear that on Rockline's website as well.  Big Smile

    Re: New Albums

Nice, I'll have to check it out on youtube.  I'm a big Tesla fan, have The Great Radio Controversy, Psychotic Supper, and Mechanical Resonance on cd.  Very solid hard rock band.

Can't you feel the magic, feel it everywhere, Can't you hear the music, there's something in the air, There's a celebration, deep within a song, Celebrate this feeling, you know it can't be wrong
