Anyone else the H&H tour? I saw them last weekend and they were freakin amazing. Dio sounded perfect, Ozzy wishes he could sound half as good. They played NO Ozzy era material, which was fine with me. Megadeth was great too. Check it out if you get a chance.
Now we just need to get Dio and Blackmore back together for one more go around!
I would like to have seen this--they just played a half-hour away on Friday--but it was a no-go for planning/schedule. Plus there's the pavilion issue, yuck. Megadeth would've been cool, too, and the Europe dates open with Iced Earth, a group I'm curious about.
Anyway, I agree that Dio is a much better Sabbath singer than Ozzy. Ozzy is a persona, Dio's a songwriter and musician with personality. It makes a big difference.
I don't think anyone will pull Blackmore out of his medieval fantasy world. But Dio would be a fine one to do it. He's what...65 years old now? Depends on the source...

Iced earth is pretty cool. An online buddy turned me on to them. Theres a few lineup changes that make some of it a hit or miss with me though
Wasnt sure where to put this, but it is RJD on the Heaven and Hell tour...some interesting comments about Vivian Campbell

Apparently he's not a fan of Def Leppard either! Ha, I didnt expect that out of Ronnie, he always seemed like a calm person. I didn't know that the RJD/Campbell relationship had gone that sour, I thought they just split and that was that. Guess I didnt read up enough.
Saw the H&H tour last summer (I think) in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre. I, as with many here also prefer RJD over Ozzy any day.
Rob Halford has already fronted for ozzy during Sabbaths ozz fest so I think it would be entirely plausible. Not to mention that I'm a HUGE priest fan and would love to see those two sharing the same stage.
