I hever heard of "In The Beginning", but after looking at the track list, I remembered that there were three versions of Rock n Roll machine:  The canadian version (as listed and shown), then there was an US release (the album cover showed a live shot of the band) that had different tracks including most of the songs on "In the Beginning", actually there was two different US releases of this album with different track listings, and then there was a german release that had a mixture of tracks from both albums (it had the original cover as the canadian album).  So, there were four  (4) different versions of "In the Beginning and Rock n Roll machines released.  Unforturnately, I no longer have all the albums with the track listings.

In The Beginning is just Triumph's self-titled debut re-mastered and repackaged with a different color but exact same track listing.

There are only three versions of Rock And Roll Machine, they are:

There is a huge different between those last two, the International Edition has a different back cover, all black with red piping and the tracks listed, whereas in the USA Version it had just a simple bland white cover and the tracks listed. The sound is also far superior on the International than the USA, a ton less hiss and there is even a dip in the sound on Street Fighter Man that lasts for about a good fourty-five seconds on the USA version. The International Edition is the best one to get I believe/think, cause it has the best album cover and artwork, defines the album more. But that is just me saying that...
