    Re: Tesla

I like them a lot. One of the few 80's bands that still gets respect from everyone. Never heard anything bad about them.

They're pretty good, saw them open for Def Leppard in 1988. Good opening band.

How was Def Leppard live? Was Steve Clark still alive at that time?

Love this band. I saw them twice in the late 80's. Poison opened for them in Indianapolis. It was such a great show, I traveled to Columus OH, to see it again a few weeks later. I believe they're better live than in studio. Definately in my top ten favorite bands of all time.

    Re: Tesla

I like both versions of "Signs".
In 1988, Steve Clark was still alive and with Def Leppard. He died in January 1991.

Sorry for the late reply. They were great live - in the round and I had 11th row seats. This was just after Hysteria came out, they were at their peak, in my opinion and put on an awesome show.
It was three years later that Steve Clark died, by the way, (1991).

Sorry rino, I missed your reply on Clark.

    Re: Tesla

    Howdy all,

I'm new to the Triumph boards, but am a frequent poster on the Tesla boards.

Over the years I have looked for a Triumph website but had never found one until recently.   My top 3 favorite bands are Tesla, Triumph and Queensryche.

I miss Triumph and was happy to hear that they were at least touring somewhere (am hopeing that maybe we will get lucky enough here in the states too)Wink

Ok, so now my thoughts on Tesla...........I have been a huge fan since the 80's, did not get to attend a live show until 1998 for the first time, but it was everything that I expected and more.

Jeff Keith is such an incredible singer (JMO) and he absolutely cares about each and every one of his fans.   Most of the guys in the band do as well, and I have had the pleasure of meeting them all many times.

    Happy to be here, Ta
