Well I guess the reason for the "redundancy" has to do with this. 16 wins and 0 losses during the regular season. Ok so they did lose 2 pre-season games but that doesn't really count. They are 2 and 0 in post-season play and it will be 3-0 come sunday.

I've been a fan of New England since 1972, interestingly the last perfect season, and it was against those Dolphins, 52-0.
So of course I am rooting for New England to win, and oh yeah for all the nay-sayers, they 9-0 this year against winning teams. Those 1972 Dolphins we're 3-0 against winning teams and they came in the playoffs.
So the bet would be worthless but you mentioned beer so it's hard to turn that down. Just don't hold your breath for me to travel halfway across North America for it.
