Rob Marcello-now with Danger Danger! lol surprising fit IMO
Steve Stevens-Billy Idol, Solo...Atomic Playboys is an incredible lost album from the late 80s, Steve has some major chops that you don't really get to hear with Billy Idol which he puts on display with his Atomic Playboys record. Youtube the title track if you wanna see what its about, other highlights on the album are, well most of the tracks, but Action, Soul on Ice, Crackdown, Slipping into Fiction, and one of the best 80s ballads IMO Desperate Heart, stand out.
Doug Aldrich-Whitesnake, Hurricane, plus a few more
Gary Moore-never really hear him mentioned a whole lot, but was a huge influence on a bunch of players...sings well too, I'm a big GM fan
Gary's vibrato is just amazing, and his tone is awesome...no matter the style he's playing.
...anyone notice Rik's tone on the Sweden/Rocklahoma shows...IMO it is A LOT better than what he had back in the 80s. It has a much fuller sound, it was always kinda thin sounding to me.
