    Gil sounds strained and nervous on this one. I know he has admitted to being shy and sort of a reluctant rock star. I would guess facing the audience after all these years off may have been somewhat daunting for him.

    You can listed to the Allied Forces clip, like five songs into the set, and it's far more like the Gil we remember. And I believe that's a more challenging song for him to sing and play. As well as for the band to play.

    I know it's tradition for Gil to open the show and Rik to end it, but I think they should have considered having Rik do the first song, just to give Gil a chance to ease into being back on stage. You can listen to AF and RMW and it's plain he can still deliver the goods!
