...if only the young brewers could pick up sal bando, larry hisle, and gorman thomas this year...watch out, there would be no stopping this brew crew!

    Don't forget Cecil Cooper!

Fatsball up and in, curve on the outside corner, knee high. If you can do that, you'll win a lot of games. Not many can, though.

Big Ben throws the high heat, but doesnt always throw the curveball outside, he throws it pretty much anywhere in the dirt and gets them to swing, very unique pitcher, most guys like him start their splitter out in the same slot as their fastball, then have the split drop out of the zone(Curt Schilling did that very well when he won the WS with the D-Backs) but Sheets does that with his curveball, starts it out at the belt, and its spiked in the dirt, 18 k's against the braves in '04, and what, 1 0-2 pitch that got hit for a dinger away from a no-no I think in that game, anyway, yeah, not many have a Ben Sheets hook though so outside corner at the knees would probably be ideal for most, tough to hit, and if you do, its not going to typically be hit very hard

By the way, report on Sheets-strained muscle, because of the tear of the latisamus dorsi(sp?) last year, when it healed, it healed a little differently, so he's using another muscle to do some of the work, that its not used to doing, so thats why he was feeling discomfort, he's fine, the trainer has him on a program to strengthen that muscle, not sure if he'll be ready for opening day or not, but he should be fine in the long run
Can't you feel the magic, feel it everywhere, Can't you hear the music, there's something in the air, There's a celebration, deep within a song, Celebrate this feeling, you know it can't be wrong

    Re: sports forum?

Sheets should be fine, just has to work a muscle he's not used to using as much, he'll be good to go in the long run, might not make the opening day start, they aren't sure yet

...what no Rollie and the handle bar moustache, alltime greatest reliever...and who better to handle the hot corner than Don 'Mo' Money...and don't get me started on Ned Yost vs. Charlie Moore behind the plate (they should have used Buck Martinez, and they would have won the world series)....okay, i'm officially out....my head is about to implode...firing synapses that haven't been asked to work for over 25-yrs...whew
