Maybe your theory is correct. The 2001 NE Pats should by all intents and purposes should have been destroyed in the Super Bowl. They were barely a playoff team and were granted passes all through the playoffs

They(PATS) finally got what they deserved, an ass kicking in the Super Bowl.

They have cheated for all the years that Bill Bellacheat has been coach.

He has tried to bend the rules ( not cheat though) by filming other teams.

If he his such a great coach why would he even feel the need to do it.

I still think the Giants got really damn lucky at the end of the game when Eli(who I still think its a POS qb and will never be anything great in the NFL) somehow found his way out of that scrum, and threw a prayer that was answered.  Don't really care for the its fixed theory, unless you're saying that the Pats actually threw the game themselves...

Giants defense played well against that offense.  But I still think it was a fluke and that if they played 10 times the Pats would win 8 of them.

I'm definatly in the middle of this arguement.  Both extremes are being presented.  I could care less that they video taped teams.  After they were caught they still didnt lose until the super bowl and they put up tons of points.  It obviously had very little impact on what they were doing if any at all.  I'm sure other teams cheated and were bending/twisting/breaking rules at the very same time the Pats were but didn't get caught.  Don't see the point in all the hatred towards a team who really doesn't have any players getting in trouble with the law or talking dumb like Chad Johnson(who is actually smart just likes to run his mouth).  If hating a team for being good made sense why would anyone like talented musicians?

Anyway...Rodgers looked good in his the first preseason game.

There is no such thing as Destiny when it comes to human beings, how can one's life be pre-destined yet they have the ability of choice? That is the biggest oxymoron of all time!

CORRECT, now you see the point. I am NOT saying that every super bowl is fixed, I am saying that the most important ones are very much tampered with. And yes the 2001 Patriots Super Bowl win was probably for that same reason. Did you read that well Hank? I am saying one of my life long teams super bowl wins were fixed as well. Sure I love New England but I will not put up the fight even for them in this case if I didn't believe it to be true. I never said the Patriots Super Bowl loss to Chicago in '85 or Green Bay in '96 was 'rigged' or 'fixed', why? Cause I do not believe they were, even though I was extremely sour when they lost.

NO Hank, and you being from California et al, meaning you are PROBABLY a fan of all California teams, surely you must remember when Oakland won the Super Bowl in the 1980 season against the Eagles. How did Oakland beat the Cleveland Browns huh? Red, Right 88! Brian Sipes hand was moving forward when it was hit and the ball traveled a few yards and was intercepted.

People seriously need to read rules more, if anyone behind the line of scrimmage makes a forward pass attempt but decides not to, tucks the ball into his body and THEN gets it knocked out of his hand is a fumble. If you look closely to that replay, which I have up under my account at You Tube, you will see CLEARLY that Brady's hand, with the ball that is, never touched his body before it was knocked out. Making it STILL a forward pass attempt, which is an incomplete pass.

That is one big way to view it, and in fact that is a lot of what happened. There is no way in Hell a POS GB is going to get away from the three sack leaders by the other team, in the biggest game in the world, WHERE ALL THREE HAVE BEEN BEFORE. Then throw a wobbly pass, which anyone knows that takes longer to reach it's destination, only to have that destination be a POS rookie wide out who outsmarts an 18 year veteran, whom has both won and lost Super Bowls. BULLSHIT!

EXACTLY! All you did right there was say what I had been saying all along, in just a LOT less words. The embarresment to the NFL if the Patriots shoved their fist right up the leagues ass by saying, "We Don't Need To Cheat, Watch This", would have ridiculed the sport. The integrity of the game would have been question big time.

Could you tell me if the Raiders put heliumn in footballs in the 70's so Ray Guys punts could have so much hang time ? Who fixed Superbowl III when the small Jets beat the mighty Colts ? And who really killed JFK ?

I will stand by what I said in the first place, The Giants defense gave Brady and his boys a tough time. The Giants offense got a little bit of luck on Tyree's miraculous catch. They came through and scored the winning touchdown and the Patriots lost. Can't you accept it?  They played the game...thats why they hand the Lombardi Trophy  after the game. Just because it didn't go your way doesn't make it Bull****. Enough already!
