    Useless trivia

Some may find this interesting, others maybe not. In the 70s there was a band called Hot Tuna which was a spin-off from Jefferson Airplane. The two founding members were Jack Casady and Jorma Kaukonen that were childhood friends who formed a band during high school called The Triumphs. Luckily there was no legal problems that arose when our threesome came on the scene with their moniker. Just thought you'd all like to know.

I like Hot Tuna! I own the Hoppkorv album, which contains references to frozen northern lands. Also, they were a power trio during the mid-70s. It would have been amusing to have some Triumphs on the scene then.

The samples of the first four songs might be worth a listen:

Thanks for posting about this, Paul.
