I pretty much watched whatever NBC was running. The gymnasts and the divers grabbed my attention mostly. I wish they showed some shooting and fighting sports though. I found vollyball and running boring.
and how about the opening/closing ceremonies?

I normally watch the olympics...............not this time, maybe a half of a basketball game.

Hmm I see a common theme. Did you watch the women's beach volleyball too? That was very entertaining in my eyes. Lol. I wanted to see the white water kayaking, but I missed it.
Phelps is just simply amazing. I can't see another swimmer being that good for a long time. However, it seems every Olympiad, new records are being broken.
Gratz to the US for doing so well at another Olympiad. The Chinese made a huge improvement over the last few games. We'll see how the two super powers will do on neutral turf in London for the next summer games.
Not too much. Unless Canadians were involved when I channel-surfed and stopped at the Olympics, I didn't watch. I followed it on the sports highlight shows, though.
