What about an all-sports forum? I know there are existing forums where sports threads could go, but it might help reduce clutter in those and allow posters who are sports fans a place to congregate.
Just a suggestion. You could even call it "A Sport of Kings!"

Sure, we can have a sports forum. I was planning on adding the pet forum on Friday so now I will also add in a sports forum.

Actually, I've changed my mind. I'm just going to launch the pet forum today and then I'll launch the sport forum in a few weeks in order to space things out. In the meantime, feel free to talk about sports in the General Discussion forum.

the sports forum could also be called Carry On the Flame-in reference to the olympics and flame and all that good stuff, or even Running in the Night or something too...just throwing them out there since I think that only song titles have been used so far-so if keeping that theme going was important or significant at all, there's a few suggestions of mine

Or we could talk about the MLB, which I could go on forever about, I love baseball, I watch/listen to as many Brewer games as I can, and made it to about 15 or so of them last season

When does baseball season start? Perhaps the new Sports forum can debut on the same day as the first game.

Well if you want the day of MY first game..its April 3rd or something, grr its always soo cold at the beginning of our baseball season, I froze half the games last year and that doesnt help keeping your arm from getting sore, have 2 shirts and a sweatshirt on under your jersey and still being cold isnt fun, there was one game last year that it was like 40 degrees(at the most) and raining...brrr

MLB season opener is...ha just looked at the Brewers opening day game, April 3rd against the Pittsburgh Pirates-at Milwaukee, thats cool, same opening day for our highschool game as for the Brew Crew

Thanks much, I'll have plenty to talk about as far as baseball goes, I watched about 130 brewer games on tv last season, and went to a few...interesting stories about a few of those, then watched the playoffs, and the other games that were on tv during the course of the season when I was bored, all to go along with playing it too...ooo baseball is the best sport! ha, alright, thanks Lindsay for the forum!!

Cool! I'm a sports fanatic (Member of Red Sox Nation Baby!). A Sports Forum should lead to some lively banter ... wait a minute ... isn't this a Triumph discussion board? .... oh yeah ... bands been defunct for nearly 15 years ... sometimes I forget ...

Too bad the Blue Jays are going to take the divison this year SNASL lol, big offseason improvements for them this year, pitching and batting, getting BJ Ryan for their closer, and AJ Burnett(throws high 90's with a hard curve) as their ace(?) maybe, they still have Roy Halladay who won a Cy Young award already, then they aquired Troy Glaus to play third-big time power out of him, and Lyle OOOOOOverybay! from Milwaukee in a trade. I have to say that they'll be the top team in that division this year...Sox had a crappy offseason, didnt do much to help the gaps they had last year, and they lost the caveman-Johnny Damon to the Yanks(I hate that team), I guess the Red Sox did get Josh Beckett(World Series MVP when the Marlins beat the Yanks) and Juilian Tavarez(relief pitcher for the Cards)..but still didnt plug up their starting pitching problems, and Beckett has been shaky ever since the Marlins won the WS, he always is missing games with blisters or something, he's been very unreliable.
