    Re: pets

hmm ... not a bad idea ... especially since we get Drew's Toby reports spread throughout various threads ... the problem is what are we going to call this forum given that each forum is mapped from a Triumph song? "All The Kings Horses - Surveillence" or "Hooked On You - Sport of Kings" or how about "Black Sheep - Edge of Excess".

In fact, let's not stop there ... we could have a "couples forum". A Triumphmatch.com ... we could call it "Fool For Your Love - Allied Forces", "Follow Your Heart - Thunder 7" or better yet "Be My Lover - Beginning" probably shouldn't be named "All The Way - Allied Forces" or "Bringing It On Home - R&R Machine" ... "Hard Road - Progressions of Power" doesn't really work in any context ... ugh ... this post is getting out of hand ... I'll just "SayGoodbye"

Sure, we can have a "Pets" section. But Stranger N A Strange Land asks a good question, what should we call it? Feel free to leave suggests and then maybe we can add in a poll to decide on the name.

Well ... here's my 2 cents ... I think the forum should definately be tied to Triumph (album or song title). Since Drew is so openly fond of his pooch ... I recommend ... "Be My Lover" laugh.gif Sorry Drew, couldn't help it ... Actually I'll go with my first thought ... "All The Kings Horses" ...

well .. I had two "dogs", Peekenese (however they're spelled) ... but they weren't really dogs if you know Peek's ... more like slippers ... luckily my ex- got those. I inherited four cats with my current Bo ... as they are outside cats they have subsequently brought back a mate each so all in all there are eight cats hanging around. In addition, I presently have a squirel presently running around the inside the walls of my house (ever tried to get a squirel out of your house ... ugh!). There are two field mice running around the basement (the cats should soon take care of those). Also on the property there are two beavers down by the brook, six wild turkeys, a family of racoons, about a half dozen bats, a coyote, and as recent as last fall a black bear.

Stranger N A Strange Land sounds like you could start a petting zoo. If your squirrels are of the red variety they can be quite damaging to your house. They will chew through anything.
I feed my squirrels. They love Kiwis or peanut butter. It builds their muscles as you can see from the pictures.

Was it hard getting the collar on that squirrel? smile.gif

Do you have any pictures of the bear?

I have 10 cats 3 of which were mine. The remainder were left homeless as neighbors around me moved out over time. Next thing ya know there moving in. Im a sucker. I was feeding a possum (cletus) but I havent seen it in some time.

    Re: pets

Nope ... the squirrel is grey ... in fact, I haven't seen a red squirrel since I moved here from the Midwest. He got into the walls over the last cold spell. Doesn't seem to be chewing through anything ... haven't figured out how he got in yet ... but they're resourceful little critters ...
