this is a band that, as a child i was introduced to them by my older brother. their positive, winning, sucessful messages in the songs they sang along with their outstanding ability to perform beyond expectation completely sent me down a path of doing the best i could do in everything i do & i'm still going strong 25yrs later.  i'm from cleveland, ohio. i was wondering if this band will ever tour together again. i just found this website last night.

your three have earned my respect as well as my families. GOD bless all of you! bill

I was introduced to Triumph as a young lad and still to this day they are one of the greatest bands I have ever come across. I have watched the documentaries regarding the hate between them and I truly never in a million years expected them to be civil to each other again. I saw them together on stage and the owe themselves to tour. They had a genuine happy look together accepting the award. If they can put the "bad" past behind them and focus on the true magic and energy they bring to a Triumph show, it will be more powerfull than they could imagine. Plus, hey, I have never had the opportunity to be at a Triumph show, I live in Winnipeg and I am sure they would pack the MTS Centre. I will be there on the floor to suck it all in. Love you guys!

I too grew up listening to you guys and still do.  I have always like Triumph.  You know they don't make music like they used to, songs that take you on an adventure, not *** session like some of the music today.  Wish we could go back and make more.........

I first bought Just a Game on a whim, not knowing much about the band. Must have been over 25 years ago. I still have the riffs spinning around in my head. Great guitar, great voices.. what a band.. they had that something special, money cant buy. Timeless songs are rare...

Either purchased the album in December 1977 or received as Xmas gift, has been on constant rotation ever since; immediately prompted me to go purchase entire catalogue up to that point, have bought every single album since, including the er um "Santer's stuff", have been to 29 Triumph shows over the years in various cities in Canada and the U.S. (R'n'R Machine, Propgressions of Power, Just a Game, Never Surrender, Allied Forces, Thunder Seven, and Sport of Kings, my fav. tour).  Have a very rare MIS-STAMPED self-titled first album that has side "A" songs on both sides "A" and "B", although the label on side "B" lists five songs that aren't on this album, but appeared on the Just a Game album that followed.  Have been to numerous Rik Emmitt Guitar clinics over the years, in spite of the fact I don't play guitar!

Man what a great thing it's about time rock music is still at its prime. And Triumph is one of most powerful rock bands to date.A short time ago they played Tulsa,Ok.back in the late seventies. What show that was we all can , but wait for them to hit the stage again. All the songs and really great music to the ears..it just keeps you on your toes ..just keep on rock'n and play some gigs..

I first heard Triumph back in 1976 or so as a cool song called *24 Hours a Day* played on the radio. It was a catchy tune at the time and still is. I went searching for the album in the stores and found *In the beginning*. It was awsome and then came *Rock and Roll Machine* and that one just blew everyone away. Everywhere I went, party*s, high school dances and so on, they were all playing Triumph*s *Rocky Mountain Way* along with *Rock and Roll Machine*!!!*Just a Game* was also a huge hit around here (Ottawa) with everyone blasting*Lay it on the line* on their stereo*s and in their cars. The list just went on and on over the years, hits after hits and the concerts were awsome and may I say the best I have ever gone to and I have been to many concerts over the last 30 some years. Gil, Rik and Mike, your music has always been one of a kind and I am so happy you are back together. So hoping for a tour soon, it*s been a long time coming. The first time I saw Triumph, I think I paid $7 for a ticket and now I would pay whatever to see Triumph again.

Fan since 79. heard lay it on the line on chom fm out of montreal. Searched everywhere here in vt , foung r n r machine and just a game and bought it on the spot. Favorite band still to this day, no hesitations. Seen many shows, got Rik's pic at one at the forum, front row i was...I play drums, and know all the songs, a lot of talent there, especialy live. Bought the guitar ally album by Santers just because I saw Emmett produced it. Sounds great. I have seen Rik at many meet and greats after the shows, he is cordial and talkative, a real nice guy. Would fly anywhere to see a reuniom show. Thanks guys for all the inspiration!
