I think the vote is cool but wonder how much of an influence it would have on the boys final decision on what they'll play. Whatever they play is going to be good so in the end it doesn't matter....just the fact that they are playing together again is awesome in itself. Hopefully they do a video of the concert as I can't afford to go. I'll definitely buy that. Hopefully I get to see them in Regina here if they decide  on a tour. It's been a long time since I've seen them play.

It seems from the vote, everyone wants to hear such great hits as *Lay it on the line*, *Rocky mountain way*, *Fight the good fight* and so on. But I do agree with Dan that whatever they will play will be awsome as it is like a dream that Triumph are finally back together and everyone loves that.

Have fun in Sweden guys and I do hope there is a video of this concert for some of us that can*t make it there. I hope you also tour Canada when you return and play  Ottawa or Montreal. Actually no matter where you will play in this area I will be there.

The vote is a good idea but, as long as they play together and their friendship with each other is strong it will be the greatest show on earth no matter what the play list is!

Agree with you all - doesn't matter what they play, just as long as they're back together again and playing!  Still, personally, I would love to hear a lot of the Rik hits (Magic Power, Hold On, Fight The Good Fight, Say Good-bye, Lay It On The Line, Somebody's Out There, etc...) with some of the Gil rockers (Tears in the Rain, Follow Your Heart, Spellbound).  Yeah, and maybe a 5 minute version of Midsummer's Daydream.  PLEASE COME TO NEW YORK!!!!!

mr phil x when rik emmett left the band the person who was going to replace him had to be able to fill some big shoes.Its obvious that you cuold not fill them.I know that it is no mistake or coinsidence that rik emmett's solo career took off in plenty of success and the EDGE OF EXCES cd didn't (in all due respect it is a good hard rock kicking cd)but it's not triumph.Nothin more to sayIn all do respect to mike and gil triumph is nothin without rik.

Jerry, Get it straight. triumph is Gil and Mike. All three partiies agree on that. Rik is only a hired hand at this point, unfortunately. To say Rik solo albums were a success is overstating the facts. Absolutely, gold status....the rest, you know. Remember, how many metal bands went anywhere in the '90's. I'm thinking that this bickering back and forth is pointless. Let's just be glad and enjoy the fact that after so many years the 3 members of the original and most well-known version of Triumph is getting back together. I'd be willing to bet that most if not all of us thought that it would never happen.

I hope they play multiple tunes from "The Sport of Kings" and "Surveillance" albums.  If they play as a three-piece band (which hopefully they will), I would like to see the rhythm guitar dubbed in during the guitar solo's.  The songs would sound so much fuller and complete.

If they are looking for other festival sites to play this summer, look at Summerfest in Milwaukee and the Cadott, Wisconsin Rock Fest.

Welcome Back Triumph, we missed u

Oh wow, I am so surprised, guess it takes a little while to realize the SWEDEN news. I fell in love with Riks Voice in 1993 and never had a chance to hear it LIVE. I couldn't afford to travel to Canada and I seemed ABSOLUTELY absurd to wait for a concert in Europe. Now I find myself sitting here IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT and thinking about how to get there from Berlin. That's really crazy.... SOMEBODY'S OUT THERE knowing how many songs they'll play????? They are the second band on sunday, and there a many other bands on the stage the same day.... But if I wouldn't go there, ONLY HEAVEN KNOWS if there'd be another chance....

IF ONLY we'd all be positive and feel the MAGIC POWER of the music, that's what the singer and musicians we are talking about always wanted! So please HOLD ON.

Oops! I did it again. After re-reading some of the posted messages here at this site, is it true Triumph is the second band to play on Sunday? What that means is that they might be playing for only 40 minutes to 1 hour? Sort of a warm-up band?
    If thats true, we all may need to reduce our song lists to maybe 7 - 10 songs?
Gosh, which ones to choose? If you were a Swedish rock fan who has been rocking out & headbanging to the likes of Hammerfall, Krokrus, Saxon, Maiden, etc. then which Triumph songs to choose?

I was dispointed in rik's show in philda.
Me and my son want him to sign our program book from 1986.
And he hardley  play.
But i a'm glad, he went back to his roots.
And let by gone's be by gone's.
for Phil x you are a great guitar.
And i enjoy your work on Truimph album.
Mladen very good guitarist as well.
Just remember that you guy, are part of history.
Of a great band in the world.
