Happy Birthday to you, Gil. Thanx for all the great music and memories through-out the years !
Very happy to hear about the re-union for the Sweden Rock-fest. Hope this will lead to a US/Canadian tour and perhaps some new Triumph music with this line-up.

I also echo the comments above. I hope you had a great birthday Gil. I'm a long time listner of Triumph music here in Manchester, England, but have never seen you guys live. I can only remember you coming over here once to play a festival & I seem to believe that it didn't go entirely to plan, when you had a power cut during the set. I would love to get to Sweeden if the funds allow. If not, I only hope that you may consider playing the UK again. I would even monitor the power supply myself!! Best Wishes & Keep Rockin, John

Happy birthday Gil!  The first concert that I ever attended was back in 1979 at the  CNE Bandstand, with Doucette opening the show.  From that day onwards I've been a Triumph fanatic, attending every show I could.  I've been an avid Rik Fan, seeing him many times in different venues throughout southern Ontario.  I just know that Triumph will 'tear the roof off,' when they perform at the Swedish Rock Festival.  I hope that you have an incredible year as I continue to pray for a Triumph reunion tour that will hopefully bring you home to Mississauga & Toronto.  I'm forever an Allied Force of yours and the greatest power trio ever, 'Canada's Own, ROCK & ROLL MACHINE! Sincerely, Gary Hayes

Dear Gil, and Rik, and Triumph,
Gil, Happy Belated B-day! I hear you're a busy guy!
Well, the reason it took me so long to write/wish you a belated b-day is because I'm a busy girl.
But I LOVE YOU GUYS! I know that Rik knows I LOVE him too!  I'm SUPER GLAD YOU GUYS ARE BACK TOGETHER AS TRIUMPH!!!!!!!!!!CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU, WHEN YOU COME TO cALIFORNIA!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rik, I want you to know, it's hard for me to get a hang of this whole computer thing, and I have been busy, that's why I haven't written. But I want you to know I check the Triumph Website, and your website daily! i LOVE YOU AND YOUR MUSIC-and TRIUMPH I LOVE YOU AND YOUR MUSIC TOO!

Happy B-day Gil!!!!!!!!!!!  oooopppps, a little late
I am a fellow Drummer/Singer and you have inspired me for years. I listened to and followed your music through the 80's and was truly heartbroken when Rik Left the band. I am So very happy you three have renewed your friendship and Hope to see you in concert again someday( Worcester Centrum,1986 sport of kings tour). As much as I hope triumph tours or makes music together again, I hope mostly for your friendship together to be priority for you three. I love music and performing and writing, but the friendship/brotherhood/family that sometimes comes from sharing this common addiction to music is sooo! much more special. My closest friend (Former band member/Bass player) moved from Mass to Arizona three years ago. We are still close and speak regularly but the distance between makes it hard. Renewing a lifelong friendship will be truly incredible for all of you. I wish you all peace and happiness.
