Picture this… FREE recording time at one of North America's premiere and elite studios!!! If you are a talented band/artist, this is an opportunity you don't want to miss; to come in and record two of your songs here at Metalworks Studios for free. There are a few requirements for those who want to take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity which starts accepting entries on January 4, 2008 and closes February 4, 2008:
1) Entrants must reside within a radius of 100km from Metalworks Institute located at 3611 Mavis Rd, Mississauga, L5C-1T7;
2) You must be able to transport yourself and your equipment to Metalworks Institute, and;
3) You must be able to record days or evenings.
Let us break it down for you: the lucky winner will have two songs recorded and mixed by the students in the Audio Production & Engineering Program at Metalworks Institute, supervised by top industry professionals. The students from the Entertainment Business Management Program will be in charge of marketing and promoting you and your songs, also supervised by top industry professionals. The winner will be selected by a student committee, notified by email and/ or phone, and their name will be posted on the Metalworks Institute website. After the project is completed, the recorded masters will be returned to the band/artist for free, for them to use in any way they wish. There's only one more question you need to answer: "What have you got to lose?"
